Hi,
- Please do not skip this step because it’ll help you to successfully install macOS Mojave on VirtualBox on Windows 10 PC. Minimum 2 GB memory (Recommended 8GB or higher) Minimum 2 cores of processors (Recommended 4 cores or higher) Hard disk free space 20 GB (Recommended 100GB or higher).
- Download macOS Catalina ISO. You’ve to download macOS Catalina ISO from the link provided.
- Use fixed size disks: Generally speaking, when we allot storage space for our VMs, we stick with the.
Open the text file, go to the ‘Edit’ menu at the top, and then down to ‘Replace”. Here we want to type “VBoxNAME” in the ‘Find what’ field. In the ‘Replace with’ field, type in the name you called the VirtualBox (step2). Click the ‘Replace all’ button, and this should convert all items with the new file name.
I've bought an iMac 2019 21' and use a Windows 10 64-bit Virtual Machine with 4 GB of allocated RAM memory and 256 MB allocated Video Card memory.
The general graphics performance is very poor. When dragging windows inside the VM it's chunky and if I enable the 3D acceleration the guest system becomes unusable (flickering graphics, etc.). I've already tried every possible combination but the best I could achieve was to enable 2D acceleration only and hence having sloppy graphics.
I use the latest version of macOS Mojave and the host system should be fast enough to run any VM in any configuration without issues.
The Guest drivers inside Windows 10 are installed.
